location: amelia island plantation, walkers landing
this was the most touching, emotional wedding i’ve shot in quite some time. bret & brittany & brody are the perfect little family….bonded by love, supported by family & friends, and brought together by God. it was a super unique day for me too, because my daddy was the officiate of the ceremony:) my mom and dad, ben and I enjoyed 3 days at amelia island…hanging out with each other and then of course, hanging out with the daniels and hubbards!
when i first met brittany over the phone, i had a really great feeling about her…knew i was going to book them immediately. she was just so genuine and down to earth. and bret…well, i didnt meet him until the weekend of the wedding and let me tell you…the man is quite the writer. his vows had the ENTIRE place bawling. I couldnt hold it together, the screen of my camera was wet with tears. and amelia island is now one of my new favorite locations to shoot a wedding…serene and prestigious, relaxed and full of life.

I adore this next one…Bret was unaware but i was stalking him as he rehearsed his vows. I love the shot on the right of him gently placing them back into his jacket pocket, his suit flap being caught by the wind…it was perfect timing!
