i’m rebekah! you can call me bek, beka, b….

i am a south florida based photographer specializing in weddings, engagements, and families.  i also dabble in some boudoir and fashion:)

people always ask me, “how did you get into photography?”. i have no distinct answer. for a long time i didn’t have an inkling of what i should do with my life. more importantly, what would make me happy, what i would love, and how i could find something that let me do/be both those things. a few years back i just started photographing everything, as an outlet to stress. today, i’m doing everything i can to make my photography business my full time job. i have a degree in event planning & recreation management from florida state university. my background in special events allows me to provide knowledge and experience when dealing with wedding vendors, as well as allows me to see everything i do through a planners eyes (this means i am very detail savvy!)

my desire in photography is to have fun with myself, have a blast with my clients, and give them something that they could not have obtained anywhere else: a unique experience and pictures that are different, pictures that tell the story of that time.

someday in the near future, photography will be all that i do. i’m immensely excited about that day.

a few things i love:

tv, movies, music, concerts, photography, culture, and generally anything having to do with art

running, exercising, hiking, anything outdoors…

fashion, clothing, shoes, jewelry…and shopping as a hobby.

eating…anything…but mostly Mexican, krispy kreme doughnuts, anything with a pita attached, and every entree and drink on the outback steakhouse menu.

randoms?—-being still, running around, loving my church, loving jesus, listening to the ipod, writing, drawing, editing pictures, photography, singing, camping, being AT kamp, setting up residence at starbucks, roadtrips, taking vaca’s, making things with magazine clippings, and spending hours in target.
